Chillin’ with Adam with Wyatt Earp & Doc Holliday
I apologize for the inadvertent disappearing act! I managed to publish our visit with Wyatt Earp and Doc Holliday on YouTube, but try as I might, I could not access my blog from British Columbia. It seems my website went down the very day Greg and I left for two weeks in Canada. Blog members who have not yet seen this episode, you’re in for a treat! Adam invited Wyatt Earp and Doc Holliday to come forward to show you can’t always trust the media. He said people think Wyatt and Doc lived these great heroic lives, when their lives were full of fear and anxiety; far from the glory portrayed in the movies. These two fellas were really nervous about about destroying the mystique surrounding their notoriety! 🤠
Wyatt Earp and Doc Holliday were not what people portrayed them to be. They were neither heroes, nor very brave. According to Wyatt, he and Doc were terrified of what was going on in their lives, trying to survive in a world that didn’t seem very logical to them. That’s why they got along so well. They want to take away the illusion people created around them and make it clear that when it comes to what you see on TV, including documentaries, you shouldn’t believe everything you hear.
“With your permission,” said a very polite Wyatt Earp, “I would like to tell my life story. I’m not going to take my whole life to say it, but I’d like to give you a glimpse of how it was to be Wyatt. Thank you very much for giving me a voice. What you need to understand is, that as Wyatt, it was one of the hardest lives I’ve had in all my lives. I was a very distraught, very lonely, very lost person. It all started with the family I was born into….”
Without further adieu, please enjoy Wyatt Earp’s life story and an enlightening visit with his dear friend, Doc Holliday.
